MANAGING DIRECTOR AT FLUOR LTD, TELLS US WHAT ATTRACTED FLUOR TO IQ FARNBOROUGH AND WHY HE CAN’T WAIT TO MOVE IN

What was the main attraction of re-locating to IQ Farnborough?
FLUOR’s UK Property Team spent eighteen months researching a wide range of locations  around the country and the IQ Farnborough location seemed to offer the best work/life balance to meet our criteria.

In what ways will it benefit the future business development of FLOUR?
The move will benefit FLUOR in several ways. Firstly, good transportation links to London, via train and motorway, and the location of two new hotels within a short distance from our offices will be of benefit to visiting clients and FLUOR employees from other offices. 

Secondly, we believe that the new offices will provide an improved working atmosphere with better internal communication, a central coffee pavilion in the plaza and the close proximity of the four buildings.

Which local amenities do you think will most benefit your employees?
When our employees were surveyed, one of the top amenities requested was a local gym. It is therefore likely that several fully equipped gyms in the local area, including one in the VILLAGE Hotel located next to our site, will see a lot of FLUOR attendees. Also, the upgraded shopping centre will no doubt be a location that attracts a lot of visits.

What are you looking forward to most about moving to IQ Farnborough?
Working in new, campus-style office buildings, built to the latest environmental standards, which have the space to accommodate all employees together for our company town hall meetings. In addition, being located close to Farnborough railway station and town centre, which is currently undergoing a major upgrade, will also be a bonus.
